Victorian Oysterboat ‘Terror’

Judi Darley will tell us the story of Terror, the Oysterboat, owned by the Conservancy and operated and skippered by volunteers from The Friends of Chichester Harbour.  Terror was built 125 years ago serving the thriving oyster businesses, but then disaster struck!

Your Peppers from Plant to Plate

Gerard Vonk, from Tangmere Pepper Farm, will explain how they have transformed nearly 75 acres to growing sweet peppers, all hydroponically grown in climate-controlled glasshouses.  Skill, science and the state-of-the art technology help us to grow the best crops, minimise our impact on the environment and even generate electricity for 10,500 local homes.

Chosen Charity:  The Chichester Information Shop – offers free and confidential information, advice, support and counselling to any young person aged between 13- 25 years old.
