The Cheesemaking Workshop

Mandy Nolan has an abiding passion for cheese! She runs The Cheesemaking Workshop and will demonstrate the basic cheese making principles, the history of home cheese making , and overview of the type of milk used, starter cultures and enzymes.  There will be samples of finished cheeses to taste!

Chosen Charity:  Guide Dogs who enable people who are blind or partially sighted to enjoy the same freedom of movement as everyone else.

Choosing and Growing Sweet Peas

Roger Parsons who produces and supplies seeds for the world markets from his base in Chichester, will talk about the varying qualities and types which best suits your needs.  He will give tips on how to grow better Sweet Peas, the nations second most favourite flower.  Seeds will be available for sale.

Chosen Charity:  St Wilfrid’s Hospice – give end of life care both in the community and at the Chichester Hospice, supporting patients living with a terminal illness and their family and friends.


Chichester Business Improvement District (BID)

Colin Hicks Chairman of BID represents 650 businesses within Chichester’s City walls.  The goal is to enable the successful promotion of our City and the attraction of increased visitor, customers, businesses, employees and inward investment.

Chosen Charity:  Dementia Support a local charity working in partnership with NHS and other charitable organisations to create a unique community centre for dementia.  Helping people living with dementia, their family and carers.

Fishbourne Roman Palace – Past Present & Future

2018 marks fifty years since the opening of the Palace and still new discoveries are being made.  Property Manager Katrina Burton will talk about the story of this incredible archaeological site and the opportunities for the future.  The talk will explore what makes the site so special, covering latest research and chance to handle original Roman artefacts.
